RBF - Rehabilitation for the Blind Foundation
Rehabilitation for the Blind Foundation was established on 13 February 1993 in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) by a group of friends and people close to the blind, experts in rehabilitation of visually impaired, businessmen and journalists.
The Foundation is managed by Board of Managers, President and Executive director.
The aims of the Foundation are the following:
- To provide financial support for new-opened centers for basic and professional rehabilitation of visually impaired.
- To provide visually impaired people with special technical aids for independent living, education and professional activity.
- To stimulate development of the special rehabilitation programs, literature, methods, textbooks and scientific researches.
- To improve the lifestyle and the professional activity and qualification for blind people.
