In the project "Access to Art, Right not Privilege" 20 works of art from 4 different countries are presented in a specific Collection accessible to Visually Impaired Persons. Two kinds of learning materials are included in the Collection: plastic models and relief images of some of the famous works of art from Bulgaria, Italy, Slovakia and Spain. This Collection, to be produced in the second year of the project, will be used as a tool in the specific courses for Visually Impaired Persons to get the right perception and better understanding of the presented works of art.
Here are the guidelines for the elaboration of the Collection indicated by Ms Dilyana Draganova, Psychologist and Expert responsible for the learning materials of the "Access to Art, Right not Privilege" project.
This area is designed both for specialists and visually impaired people who want to touch
already
developed projects.
In this place you can get to know the specific way of presenting works of art, so that their
reception become accessible to visually impaired people. Here you will find a Manual for
developing a psychological description of an object and the developed descriptions of
works of art from Bulgaria, Italy, Spain and Slovakia. You can access as well the projects
of tactile images of some of the cultural objects. If you possess the necessary equipment
and materials /microgranuled paper and machine/ you may print the tactile image of the culture
object that you would like to get to know.
